At the Orhei Vocational School, girls are learning a trade with a future in a space that gives them the courage to move forward. Until recently, outdated facilities and obsolete courses kept girls away from quality vocational education. The project “Weaving Success: Innovation and Gender Equality in Education” changed this reality. The sewing room was modernized, the seamstress profession was reimagined, and girls now have access to practical training connected to the labor market.
The project also included a social entrepreneurship course where 120 students and teachers were trained in their craft and entrepreneurial thinking.
