PA Civis Invest, in partnership with the Orhei Local and Regional Development Center, organized on May 4, 2023, at the Orhei Youth-Friendly Center, an Information – Training – Consultation Session on the development of the Local Action Plan for Gender Equality of Orhei Municipality, within the “Feminine Force, Local and Regional Unity” project.
The main purpose of the event was to promote and implement the principle of gender equality in the local community, as well as to raise public awareness of the importance of this issue. The Session was attended by many interested citizens, women’s rights activists, and civil society activists from the region. Also present was the representative of AO Institutum Virtutes Civilis, Ina Macovei, a non-governmental organization with experience in promoting and protecting human rights and the principle of gender equality.
