In Orhei district, too many girls were forced to give up on their dreams before they could even voice them. Lack of support, poverty, or violence kept them away from education. The project \u201cWeaving Success: Innovation and Gender Equality in Education\u201d was not just an investment in equipment or curriculum \u2014 it was an investment in their confidence. Girls learned that equal opportunities are not built through theory. They are built through real access, constant support, and spaces where every girl feels seen and capable. This initiative was carried out by NGO CIVIS INVEST within the project \u201cEmpowering Women, Local Communities and Refugees in Moldova,\u201d implemented by the Women\u2019s Law Center and financially supported by the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF). 10 local teams from different districts across the country received financial support and mentoring to implement projects addressing gender equality, discrimination, and violence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
